Birth was the only place to begin this new project.

Just to rewind a bit, I’ve spent the last ~15 years creating art, music, video, and poetry under different names—SexDeathRebirth, The Whip Angels, Temple ov Saturn, Joan Pope. Archetype Vision is the next chapter. It’s something new, but also a continuation. Motherhood and aging have changed me. I’m not who I was when I began, but my work is still anchored in the same core themes. Much of the imagery in this episode originated under Temple ov Saturn, but I’ve reworked it into a narrative that offers clearer context and symbolic structure.

One of my frustrations as an artist has been the feeling perpetually misunderstood. I rarely spoke directly about my work. I preferred to let it stand alone, to let viewers make their own meaning. This time around, I’m offering more context. Not to limit interpretation, but to invite a deeper kind of engagement.
