What is Archetype Vision?
It’s what comes after Temple ov Saturn.
Temple ov Saturn was conceived during a time of personal loss. I was struggling with the death of my grandfather and multiple miscarriages through late 2017 and into early 2018. After months of grieving, I needed to transmute the emotional and spiritual devastation. I had to give birth to something...
In the Spring of 2018, Temple ov Saturn was born.
With Temple ov Saturn, I aimed for a more cohesive visual style than my earlier work. I wanted the music to have more focus than the raw chaos of The Whip Angels. I also designed it with live performance in mind, which ultimately shaped its structure and aesthetic. It was a time of building skills and trying to orient my self.
By 2020, my priorities had shifted. The world pushed me in a different direction. Temple ov Saturn began to lose its meaning. It no longer felt true to me. I was focused on improving my physical and financial health. I busy was laying the groundwork for parenthood. After my son was born in early 2023, I knew in my heart that Temple ov Saturn was over. I was ready to grow in new ways. Ironically, I think my strongest visual work for the project came after that. Those final pieces were the seeds for Archetype Vision. I just needed time to let them germinate. Juggling parenthood and a career forced me to be more precise, then again, limitations and boundaries have always suited me. (That was part of the reason for ‘Why Saturn?’)
Archetype Vision isn’t a total departure. It’s a structural reinvention. It’s built from the same materials (myth, tradition, motion, symbol), but the architecture has changed.
It’s stronger now.
The vision is clear.
The new work is still about cycles (birth, death, rebirth), but it’s shaped with more intention. This time around, the sacred and the mysteries are given a voice. I intend to be more exact in what my work means. I am presenting my material in new ways and expanding into writing.
Less fog, more form.
It’s not personal catharsis anymore. This is a platform and a service. It's a structure for myth, meaning, and revelation.
Archetype Vision is a framework for seeing clearly.
